Shawn has been active in the sports and fitness industry most of his life. He started by playing basketball growing up, and traveling with many All-Star and club teams. At 18 years old he wanted to finally add some size and he started weight training. Since then, Shawn has trained and competed in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Boxing, Mixed Martial Arts and Men's Physique Bodybuilding.
In 2008, Shawn worked closely with the Nutrishop stores located in Santa Barbara and Oxnard. He fell in love with the exclusive products that they had and the way that they work with their clients. This hands on approach of guiding a customers health and wellness journey is what drew him to Nutrishop After working with these stores, Shawn had the opportunity to open the Nutrishop location in Northridge, Ca.
Shawn holds several nationally recognized certifications in personal training, sports nutrition, group training and boxing.
